Lipigo Tablet is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required by the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, and raises good cholesterol (HDL).

Instructions for taking Lipigo Tablet
Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Kindly seek your doctor’s advice for the proper dose and duration of the medicine. Don’t miss your dose and always try to take the medicine at the fixed possible time. In case you miss a dose and it’s time for your next dose then instead of overdosing, take your next dose. Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time. Don’t change the dose or stop the medication without consulting your doctor.
